2024-2025 Coaches Registration

Welcome to the 2024-2025 Hopkins Youth Hockey Association Coaches Registration.

Prior to completing the HYHA registration, you need to have a CEP card. If you don't have one, you need to register for a class to obtain one, and will enter this date in the registration form.

*The online registration process will walk you through obtaining an up to date USA Hockey Membership number (if needed).

Once you have completed the registration and BEFORE you can get on the ice as a coach, you will need to:

• Complete the background screening
• Once complete, forward the confirmation email to the Registrar
• Complete the Safesport training
• SafeSport training is valid for 2 seasons and includes the required concussion training content

AGE SPECIFIC MODULES

As soon as possible, you need to complete the appropriate age specific module for EACH level you will be coaching. If you have completed the appropriate age specific module in previous years, you do not need to retake that module.

CEP TRAINING

Before December 31st, you will need to register for and complete the relevant CEP level certification.

You may also reach out to the Registrar with questions and to check on your current certification status (status updates can only be provided once the USA Hockey Membership registration is up to date).

Coach Certification fees are reimbursable by HYHA. Please complete the reimbursement form and submit it to the HYHA Treasurer.
